Mathieu Samson, Montreal-raised artist also known as ‘Solo’, heads Solofilms, specializing in AI video and cinematography. Inspired by the work of Denis Villeneuve and emerging technologies, he blends content curation with creativity. With 15 years of collage art experience and photography, he explores dystopia, sci-fi, and the dangers of greed. Notable recent exhibitions include Meta Morph AI Film Award, ONED art/experimental film festival, FILE Festival, and Indie Shorts Mag Short Film Festival.

Currently, he’s crafting AI short films for a few entertainment franchises, using his work to caution against the dangers of misunderstood technologies.
